1. Agreement
These Terms of Use apply to the Storytime Fairy Tales app (published in Russian and Spanish under localized titles) by Ivan Kniazev. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) also applies; these terms add to it and do not replace it.
2. Licence
You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. You may not:
- copy, redistribute or sell the tales, illustrations, music or other content of the app;
- reverse engineer the app or extract its content, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use the app in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others.
3. Free and paid content
Tales are sold in packs of ten through In-App Purchase. One tale in every pack is free in full («Kolobok» in the first pack); the other tales offer a few preview pages. The price of a pack and the tales it contains are shown in the app before you buy.
4. Purchases
There are no subscriptions in the app. A pack is a one-time purchase:
- payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, and there are no recurring charges;
- the tales of a purchased pack stay unlocked for good on every device signed in with the same Apple ID;
- a new pack is a separate purchase; buying one pack does not unlock the others.
5. Refunds and restoring purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple under its policies (reportaproblem.apple.com); we cannot issue them directly. If a purchase is refunded, its pack is locked again. To get your packs on a new device signed in with the same Apple ID, use «Restore purchases» in the app.
6. Content
The tales are retellings of traditional folk and fairy tales. The illustrations were created with the help of AI tools and then selected and edited; the music and sounds are generated for the app. We may add, update or change tales and features.
7. Speech recognition
Speech recognition runs on your device. Its accuracy depends on the room, the distance to the device and the way a person reads, so the app may miss or mistake words; you can always tap the underlined words or turn pages by hand. The app is a reading companion, not a tool for assessing reading skills.
8. Use with children
The app is designed for an adult reading together with a child. The adult is responsible for supervising the child and for any purchases made on the device.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided «as is». To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the app or inability to use it.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page, with the date at the top. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
