Lilit
A personal Telegram assistant with modules: it triages two mailboxes, matches vacancies against a CV and answers in words. A companion on the desktop mirrors what it sends.
Lilit reads Gmail and Mail.ru over IMAP and returns a verdict on each letter rather than a summary. What matters arrives as a card with buttons; the rest accumulates and comes back as one digest at 21:00, and the filter is tuned by pressing those buttons instead of editing a prompt. A second module checks vacancies against a CV and tracks applications. On top sits a secretary: write to the bot in plain words and it answers from your own data, remembers and reminds. It runs on the smallest VPS — about 100 MB of memory at rest, with the heavy work at OpenRouter. Embeddings and search live in Postgres with pgvector. A separate Electron client puts an animated character in the corner of the screen that mirrors everything sent to Telegram.
- Two mailboxes, one attention spanGmail and Mail.ru collapse into one stream with a decision attached to every letter.
- A job search that is trackedPostings are scored against the CV and applications stop living in browser tabs.
What it does
- 01A verdict, not a summary
- Each letter gets a decision about what to do with it. Retelling the contents is the job the inbox already does badly.
- 02The filter is buttons
- What counts as important is tuned by pressing buttons under the cards, not by rewriting a prompt.
- 03One digest at 21:00
- Everything unimportant accumulates during the day and arrives once, in the evening, instead of buzzing.
- 04Vacancies against the CV
- A second module compares a posting with the CV and keeps a tracker of what was sent where.
- 05Written to in words
- The secretary layer answers from the profile and the CV, remembers what was said and reminds later.
- 06A companion on the desktop
- An Electron client shows an animated character over every window; it mirrors the cards and states from the assistant.
Progress
- 01 Mail module IMAP for Gmail and Mail.ru, a verdict per letter, cards with buttons and the 21:00 digest.
- 02 Vacancies and the secretary CV matching, an application tracker, and answers in plain words over the same data.
- 03 Server and backups Docker Compose on a small VPS, the image shipped from the dev machine, a nightly dump kept for 14 days.
- 04 Desktop companion The character, the clip pipeline and the states are in place; the set of clips is still being filled in.
