PrivacyCleaner
An Android app that scans your gallery, shows what photos and videos reveal about you, and strips that metadata without re-encoding a single pixel.
Every photo you share carries more than the picture: GPS coordinates, the exact time and time zone, the phone model and firmware, sometimes people's names and the owner's name from IPTC, and the camera's serial number. PrivacyCleaner scans the gallery, ranks each finding by risk and removes it. Everything happens on the device: the app sends nothing out, and even reverse geocoding uses a built-in database of places. Two things I have not seen elsewhere: it reads the vendor trailer Samsung appends after the end of a JPEG (which leaks the country of the mobile network even with geotagging off), and it clusters coordinates into places you visit regularly, separating a likely home from a likely workplace by time of day. Cleaning never re-encodes the image; only the file structure is rewritten, with care for Ultra HDR gain maps in JPEG, chunks in PNG and WebP, and metadata boxes in MP4/MOV.
